I Have A Problem

I am totally on crack...juuuust kidding! But holy noodles! I can't go a day without making and eating this Recipe from Pinterest! Oh. My. Word! Pad Thai heaven! I don't want to know the calorie count or how much fat is in this.  All I know is I adore peanut butter (I use the All Natural kind from Jiff) AND Sriracha!!!!!! I leave out the green onions...I mean why healthify it with some veggie?! And yes, I'm pretty sure healthify is a word...in my language. Today was the first day back to work on a regular schedule because my husband and I have our own business and I get to stay home with the kids when they are out of school for Winter Break! In saying all that, I totally came home to make this on my lunch break because it's only good freshly made.  So making it in the morning and packing it in my lunch was not an option! For your viewing pleasure here is mine freshly made:

I'm drooling right now.  Here is how I make it:

Bring water to boil in pan and add seasoning packet from Ramen noodle package.
Cook Ramen noodles for 3 min
Drain water but leave 2 Tbs in pan with noodles
Add 2 Tbs peanut butter
Add 1 Tbs Soy Sauce
Add 1-2 tsp Sriracha Chili Sauce (I put the full 2 tsp in, baby!)

Enjoy! And you will...I promise!

How I Cut and Straighten My Hair!

Don't you hate how much it costs to just get your bangs or fringe a trim to keep your haircut fresh looking!? I have really perfected that for my hair and I do it at home to save money! Plus I have naturally curly hair so I thought I would add in how I straighten it.  Here is my short video showing both! My XL Lemon Drop!

I am a Lemon Drop connoisseur of sorts.  Yes, I like wine and beer...really depends on what I'm eating.  But when we go anywhere different I need to taste their Lemon Drop.  My favorite place to get a Lemon Drop so far is Willamette Country Club in Canby, OR.  They serve their Lemon Drop in a large martini glass! Awesome! And they're yummers! Of course I ask recipes and tricks from the bartenders that will divulge and I have come up with my own and I make it XL baby! Wanna see? Here you go! Happy Saturday Night!

Something To Keep from New Year's Eve 2012

I will be reviewing this sparkling wine for you today.... juuust kidding! Haha!

This is the sparkling wine my hubby picked out to share on New Year's Eve together.  Not only did it taste good but I thought the label was soooo pretty! I just had to do something with the bottle.

No, this isn't the color of the wine...I ended up washing it out carefully to preserve the label and setting it in my home office to ponder what it's use would be.  Can you tell by the pic (taken by my daughter, Shelby) what I did? Yep, I filled it with dish soap and put a pour spout on it and set it in my kitchen! I have always wanted something nice to put my soup in but have never done it.  No more Dawn bottle to decorate my kitchen sink!

I am very pleased at the amount that comes out when tipped upside down.  The kids will not be able to waste soap by squeezing the life out of the bottle! YES! So my very crafty project turned out to be the bomb! And yes, this is about as crafty as I get on my own. I am pretty darn pleased with myself! A nice reminder of NYE 2012

Airspun Powder...Forgotten?

I have stumbled upon this powder and did not buy it at first.  After researching a bit and using for a good while this is my opinion... enjoy!

Winter Golf Blues

I love golf.  During golf season I tell myself not to take it for granted because winter is coming.  Here in the Pacific North West we are in the dead of winter.  Even though it's sunny right now...for 5 minutes...the greens are frozen.  I just don't think it's very fun at all to golf in weather like this so I don't.  I mean how can you swing properly when your whole body is ridged from the frozen wind or you can't feel your hands grip the club?! I loath being cold.  Anyhoo...I am missing golf today so I went back in my YouTube videos and watched some golf videos I made.  Some of me and some of my youngest child and so on.  I thought I would share my favorite drive on video.  Straight and long (well, long for me). I have a Harrington Rod in my back so I am unable to have a full swing but I get the job done.  So like the saying "Sunday is coming" my saying today is "Spring is coming". Shout Out to Pinterest!

Can I just say I LOVE Pinterest?! I would have never of known a Parmesan container lid fits a Mason jar! So many possibilities! I used my first one to keep my baking soda fresh.  What would or do you use yours for?

Plus the added benefit of a pour side (or stick my measuring spoon in) and sprinkle side!
